Stewart Named New Vice President of Advertising Sales
ORLANDO – (September 2, 2008) – Todd A. Stewart has been named Corporate, Vice President of Advertising Sales for Bright House Networks (BHN), one of the nation’s largest cable and telecommunications operations. Stewart has been an executive in the cable industry for over 20 years. He joins BHN from Charter Communications where he most recently served as Corporate Vice President of National Sales and Development. Stewart has been in the cable industry for over two decades and has been at the forefront of advanced advertising.
At Charter Communications, Stewart developed and implemented all advertising initiatives related to advanced media, including Interactive Television (iTV), On Demand, On-line and Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) at a corporate level. In addition, he was responsible for marketing/promotions, sales training and business development for the advertising sales division, Charter Media. In 2006, Stewart was the recipient of the prestigious Cable television Advertising Bureau (CAB) President’s Award for his dedication and commitment to the cable advertising industry.
At BHN, Stewart is responsible for the advertising sales operations company wide. He is expected to create and lead the development and implementation of strategic ad sales initiatives on a local, regional and national level that generate revenue across multiple platforms, including television, online, and other advanced media platforms. As a member of the senior management team, he will act as a liaison between the ad sales organization, other functional areas within BHN, and externally with clients, networks, and vendors.
Stewart is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Morehead State University and holds a BA degree in Radio/Television and Marketing. He and his wife Lisa have two children, Alexander, 14 and Olivia, 12 and will reside in Winter Springs, Florida.
