Kristi Kramersmeier Promoted to Vice President, New Product Development for Bright House Networks

SYRACUSE, NY – (September 12, 2008) –Kristi Kramersmeier has been promoted to Vice President, New Product Development for Bright House Networks (BHN).  Kramersmeier will be responsible for the development of new product strategies for BHN residential Video, Data and Voice platforms.  She will also manage new product planning and requirements, implementation plans and vendor relationships. In addition, she will serve as the primary product interface throughout BHN, integrating cross-functional efforts to help plan and deploy new content and applications to customers.  Kramersmeier, who had been the Sr. Director of New Product Development, will report to Nomi Bergman, President of Bright House Networks.

“Kristi has proven herself to be an extremely valuable leader with a strong initiative to drive complex projects through to completion,” Bergman said.  “She is always willing to assist our company in whatever way is required to get the best results for our customers and our employees.”

Kramersmeier joined BHN in the summer of 2004.  She brought with her fourteen years of experience in product management and product marketing, most recently at IBM Microelectronics. During her earlier tenure at a company called Microware Systems Corporation, she specialized in licensing software to Asian consumer electronics companies who supplied set-top boxes in some of the earliest Interactive TV (ITV) trials deployed in the U.S. and Asia.

Since joining BHN, Kramersmeier has helped drive key video and broadband product initiatives.  Her leadership in video includes the rollout of ITV applications, the expansion of BHN VOD and Local On Demand services, and the migration to the new Digital Navigator programming guide with enhanced features such as Start Over.  In addition, Kramersmeier has managed the enhancements and upgrades to Road Runner broadband services and spearheaded a renewed focus on the improvement of home networking services.

“I am excited about the opportunity to have a triple-play perspective now on our new product development efforts,” Kramersmeier said.  “I believe creating synergies across our product lines for the consumer is another important aspect of BHN’s focus on exceptional customer service.”

Kramersmeier holds a Master in International Management (global MBA) degree from Thunderbird and a B.A. in Small Business Management/Marketing from Buena Vista University.  A native of Iowa, Kramersmeier has worked and traveled extensively throughout the Pacific Rim and Southeast Asia and is conversant in Japanese.  Kramersmeier is a member of WICT, CTAM and SCTE, and chairs the Advanced Advertising Metrics and Reporting sub-committee of the CTAM On Demand Consortium.  Kramersmeier is an alumna of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, Class 15.
